4th Annual Creek Week Cleanup
September 19, 2017
If you are interested in participating in the 4th Annual Creek Week Cleanup, I recommend going to the website. There are so many ways to get involved. You can volunteer to clean multiple creeks or you can be part of a group that adopts a creek or you can clean up your own neighborhood creek.
What is Fountain Creek Week?
The Fountain Creek Watershed needs helping hands! It’s common for trash and debris to end up in waterways – clogging drainage systems, impacting wildlife, affecting water quality and ruining the view of our natural landscapes.
Roll up your sleeves to take action during Creek Week by volunteering for cleanup duty and litter patrol along a creek, trail, park or open space throughout the watershed. We’re inviting individuals and groups (families, clubs, schools, neighborhoods, etc.) to form a Creek Crew for the 4th Annual Creek Week Cleanup. Get outdoors, get active, and create some good for your community and those living downstream.
